BGMC - AGM Comp

The A.G.M. competition is open to members of the Bundaberg Gem & Mineral Club only. Entries are limited to two per person in each section.

Please be sure to read the competition schedule carefully for each section to ensure that your entries meet the requirements.

Closing dates for the competition will be advised after the July meeting, so check the notice board for the dates.

LUSTRE PRIZE - ELLIOT HANNAY MEMORIAL: Single cabachon 25 x 18 mm :- any material, must have back polished.
TOOTELL JUNIOR: Single cabachon in commercial mount - minimum size 25 x 18 mm, any natural material.
TOOTELL SENIOR: Cabachon min. size 25 x 18 mm, any natural material. Plus
Single cabachon in commercial mount, minimum size 18 x 13 mm, natural material.
RON LINDEMAN - FACETTED STONE: One facetted stone - Standard Round Brilliant with continuous girdle, minimum size 4 mm diameter, man made material.
OPAL - PERCY NEGUS MEMORIAL: Solid Opal, fancy cabachon. size; must not pass through a 10mm hole.
KEITH & FLORA BARBER restricted: Restricted to members with two year or less club membership.
Single cabachon in commercial mount, minimum size 25 x 18 mm. Any natural material.
NOVELTY - FRED HORTON MEMORIAL: Any novelty or utility item incorporating rock, rock must predominate.
FACETTED STONE restricted: Restricted to any member who has not won a first prize for faceting.
Standard brilliant with continuous girdle. Minimum size 4 mm diameter. Any material.
SILVERSMITHING: One jewellery piece - fully hand made - composite- with or without stones, not necessarily cut by competitor.
SILVER CASTING: One cast jewellery piece, made from a wax mould, with or without stones, not necessarily cut by competitor.
